It's confirmation bias. Someone wrote something about the reestablishment of Israel and 2000 years later the Jews were given land for totally different reasons. This ignores all the other things the bible says that did not come true.
The same thing could happen if I made an outlandish claim, like for instance that Italy would rise again and reestablish the Roman Empire, and 2000 years from now Italy started conquering parts of Europe. I'd be made a prophet just because some ridiculous guess I made came true for unrelated reasons millenia later.
